Inspired ♥

Writing about beauty and fashion wouldn't be what it is today had not for women who decided to step up and dedicate themselves to take time and effort to put down their thoughts into paper. If you would look at the history of beauty and fashion spreads, these were not even written by women but by men as they deemed that the world of writing and publishing should only be a man's world. Doesn't that sound crazy? If I were in that era, I would have gone mad knowing that some fat, sleazy guy would be telling me what lipstick looks good for my morena skin.

Fast forward to today, women from all over the world are working every minute writing and sharing their ideas and opinions into paper and has even transcended to world wide web. They continually inspire girls like me everywhere.

I am personally inspired by 4 great women that has shared so much of their time and effort in rejoicing beauty and fashion without forgoing their personality.

Amatta Chitasenee is a makeup artist from Thailand. She's very well known in the fashion industry and even trusted as brand ambassador by Biore. What draws me to her is how well she maintains her personality in everything she does. I think she's the only person I know that can wear a rubber ducky head band without looking crazy.

Liz Lanuzo is one of the top beauty guru's in Manila today. What I love about her is how she isn't sharing only famous brands but also local and very generic products. She is the epitome of a person using what really works and not being swayed by the hype. You can definitely see lines from low budget Avon to high end Laura Mercier and be very honest on how well each product works without bias.

Miroslave Duma is the Russian "It Girl". She's part of the glamour girls setting fire on fashion week red carpets with their gorgeous and unique style that is a perfect marry of socialite and artistic. What draws me to Mira is her ability to carry different styles of fashion. From being ultra lux and swanky to being cute and funky, and carries them with ease in  a way only her 5 foot 2 inch stature can muster.

Last on my inspiring women list is Patty Laurel. She gave birth to the lovable girl-next-door beauty as a court side reporter for UAAP in the early 2000's. I've followed her blog since 2011 and have always loved how honest she was. Just like what I strive to be, she shows so much passion in each and every posts and has no qualms in sharing her feelings. One cannot help but feel the emotions she wants to convey every time I'd read her blog.

I am truly inspired by these women. I wouldn't have the courage to actively start blog had it not for them and the days that I'd feel jealousy whenever I'm admiring their sites. Here's to more posts and inspirations to come!
