Let's Nail It! Tony Moly Nail Polish DIY

Ever since Tony Moly released their nail polish, I've been hooked! I absolutely adore the colors available in the line. One of my definite favorite is their nail polish in ND05 Nude tone. It really compliments my skin that whenever I put these on my toes it automatically makes it very artistahin! Lol!

But seriously, I can only say good things about the product. First of all, it dries so quickly! Unlike other brands that even an hour has passed but it's still wet, this one dries up in 20 minutes flat. Not kidding, timed it myself during a mani-ped and that was even done in 2 coats and a top coat of another brand. 

Another great thing is how it doesn't chip off as easily. This lasts 1 week on my hands, and doesn't show any sign of cracks by the time I'd take it off on the 7th day (I never ever keep nail polishes on more than 7 days because it leaves my nail beds really dry and weak). Best of all, it never leaves a yellow residue that can make you look like you have Hepa.

They say you can do a whole conversation with your eyes. Catch his eye once, says you're interested. Catch his eye the second time, means you're open to talk things over. Keep a steady gaze and it means "you my friend have made a home run and get your ass in here so we can go start flirt!" Lol! But really, any single girl out there understands the importance of the eyes in the business of connecting with people. And the secret to getting them ensnared easier? A simple bat of your eyelash.

Great thing mascara was invented for girls like me that has puny eyelashes, or we would't have stood a chance against the Bambi-eyed with lush lashes out there.

I think I'm up for a DIY. The last do it yourself that I did was a couple of years ago, bag charms that I ended up giving away as Christmas gifts to my officemates. So looking around the web for some good inspiration, I saw this really great and easy accessory that any one can do.

Lip Smuckers

There are times that I'm just so tamad to put on makeup (which I'll attribute that to PMS, thank you very much!) that the most I can do to my face is put on lipstick. Since that's the only color on my face, I always hunt down for the brightest, most striking shade I can find on my makeup box to give me a sense of pretense of a made-up face.

Lining my lipsticks to choose from, I've noticed I didn't have much of the fuchsia color, so I made a mental note to go pick some up during my next run to the local drugstore.

Yesterday, as I was going through the makeup aisle at Watson's, this reminder popped up and I went around to look for lipsticks, when I stumbled upon these lip liners.

The Italia Deluxe Ultra Fine Lip Liners are basically lip pencils with really a soft texture that you can now double this as a lipstick. No more hunting for a partner lipstick for me!

1-2-3-4 to Squeaky Clean Skin

As you know I absolutely love makeup, I have the patience to go through putting on  the primer, then illuminating cream, followed by my go to foundation, plus spot checking with a concealer and then finally setting it with finishing powder. Obviously the steps are ridiculous, but these are just the things you have to do to achieve that finish you wanted.

So I just cannot understand why after all that hassle in setting up my face (btw, what I mentioned is for the foundation alone, you should hear me when I get to the eye shadow) I cannot for the life of me find the same energy in taking care of my face afterwards.

But since I don't want to risk being berated by mother, I've decided to make my life easy and stuck with the routine that I felt worked best. So here's my 4 fave products for face makeup clean up!

Scarf-hooray!

I love scarves! I think a great multi-purpose accessory that can create drama and depth to a look. I saw this really great instructional about other ways to wear a scarf. I'm very familiar with the first one, but the rest are really new to me. 

Hmmm... Something I should try during the cold season.

If there is one thing constant in a girls life, that would be the makeup kit. Don't believe me? Go ahead and check out the bag of that lady you're seating next to in the train. Hope you wouldn't get slapped on the face for being intrusive. Women are so privy when it comes to their bags you know.
