There are times that I'm just so tamad to put on makeup (which I'll attribute that to PMS, thank you very much!) that the most I can do to my face is put on lipstick. Since that's the only color on my face, I always hunt down for the brightest, most striking shade I can find on my makeup box to give me a sense of pretense of a made-up face.
Lining my lipsticks to choose from, I've noticed I didn't have much of the fuchsia color, so I made a mental note to go pick some up during my next run to the local drugstore.
Yesterday, as I was going through the makeup aisle at Watson's, this reminder popped up and I went around to look for lipsticks, when I stumbled upon these lip liners.
The Italia Deluxe Ultra Fine Lip Liners are basically lip pencils with really a soft texture that you can now double this as a lipstick. No more hunting for a partner lipstick for me!
Creamy deluxe smuckers! |
It has a very creamy texture that you can easily glide this to your lip, and is very spreadable so you wouldn't have difficulty in filling in your lips unlike other lip liners that are too hard. This lipliner is also long wearing cutting down the times you're reapplying lipstick through out the day.
Look how vibrant the colors are, it's so pink |
Placing a swatch of the product on my forearm, you can see how intense the color is, and how matte the finish is. I really like how vibrant it looks like and how well the it transcends to pictures.
Here are some shots on how it looks like applied on my lips.
In 1035 Fuchsia |
In 1041 Soft Pink |
I have acidic lips, so the fact that the colors didn't varied so much from what you see on the pencil is a very good thing. And if you don't like to too matte look, you can easily glide on a clear lip gloss to give you that shiny finish.
Another surprising factor about these lipliners is the price. It's dirt cheap! At Php. 78.00 it's such a steal that I so wanted to get all the colors they have, but imagine my disappointment when the lady at the booth said they only had these two shades. So now, I'm on a hunt to go and find the rest of the other colors.
If you guys have any tip on where else I can find these, just leave a note on the comments section below a'ight?

ReplyDelete@Anchristine Ulep Yeah! I wasn't a big fan of lipliners before din, but I guess it's just the brand, the first one's I had from Nichido dried my lips big time! But I was converted by Nars Lipliner Pencil (I'll post that one soon so you'll see) it was so moisturizing I didn't use lip balm underneath. Mahalya lang talaga! Good thing these Italia Deluxe seems to be a good dupe. It's also very long wearing and almost leaves a stain even after having a meal. Can be a little too matt though so best to top with a little gloss.
